I'm hoping there's an item in this game that will cast the spell "Shield". I want it for my single-classed Monk (it'll make him a better decoy).

If one exists, please tell me what it is and where it can be found.

EDIT: I found there is a Shield Ring in the game. Where can it be found though?

I believe the shield ring can be found on Beastlord Harshom. I can't recall if it is a random drop or not. There may be others.

There's also a shield amulet with ~30 charges. It's for sale in Targos, iirc by Elytharra.

Thanks Aerich. Is the Beastlord one of the Barbarians right before that boulder test? If so, I think it is random, because I'm pretty sure I got a Ring of Magic Missiles off of him, and that's a pretty crappy item IMO.

I might cheat a tiny bit and add the Shield Amulet, while subtracting it's cost. It's pretty darn useful for a decoy!

I'll test it with a party that still has access to Targos, to make sure it's actually there. [img]smile.gif[/img]

The Beastlord is the guy from the Hosttower in Luskan that meets you in the map with umber hulks, right after the hook horror area.
