In NWN there is a place in the game where a character mentions a halfing who had a red ruby pendant and went to Icewind Dale. I'm just wondering if this is a reference to something in IWD1 or IWD2 games. I can't remember such a character, but if you recall somthing, do tell.

Isn't that the guy from the Drizzt books? I can't remember his name, but he's there for comic relief and gets the team into trouble with Artermis Entreri.
