I just beat the game last night, and after watching the final little movie, I had to leave immediately. So I haven't actually tried to do this yet.
How do I go about getting my party to start over in HoF mode? TIA [ 06-05-2007, 01:47 PM: Message edited by: Klorox ] |

To activate HoF-mode, you will need to go to your Game Configuration from the Windows Start Menu. There will be a checkbox for you to enable HoF. Be prepared to totally revise your strategies. This is a mode that is basically Insane-Insane. Cheers. |

Natch. |
Yeah, my bad. I didn't add [IWD2] to my title. I'll edit it right after making this post.
So, how do you get your [IWD2] party from normal mode into HoF mode? Thanks. :D |

Then do what Dundee said... Then when you start a new game, during character creation, click import charachter, and select the characters you exported earlier. |
I got it to work.
I manually exported them after replaying the final battle (there's a period of time after killing Isair and Madae before you leave the tower and trigger the ending movie to do this). I couldn't figure out any other way of doing it. Man, HoF is tough! Thanks for the help guys. |
A whole crap load of better weapons thoguh

Trying to bulldoze through accomplishes exactly nothing. |
Well, my one decoy type is doing alright charging ahead and drawing all of the attention to himself, but I'm still keeping as many Mirror Images memorized as possible on him.
I do have a Deep Gnome Cleric also, who I'm probably going to add a Monk level to for the massive AC bonus (her WIS is currently 33 on level 18), but I really don't want an XP penalty. I'm going to hold out as long as possible with that one. |
