Help!
I'm playing IWD II. My party is currently in chapter 1 trying to get in to the Horde Fortress. I have a level 5 Drow Cleric who all of a sudden has lost the ability to cast Cleric spells. She can access her Domain spells through the special ability button, but the actual spell buttons are blacked out and can't be clicked on. I have removed her armour just in case, still nothing.
Obviously this is very frustrating as I have a Cleric who can't heal!!
Has anyone seen this problem before? Anyone have any ideas for me?

Has her wisdom been affected by any chance (not that I can think of anything that can lower wisdom)? If your wisdom is less than (10 + spell level) you can't cast spells of that level.

Did you rest properly to re-learn your spells?

Are you patched?

Can't think of anything else right now, maybe someone else can help here...

I'm assuming that she isn't silenced? Have you tried resting?

Thanks for the suggestions, but no they don't help. My wisdom is 19. I'm not silenced and I have rested. My spells are memorised in my spell book, it's just that the spell icons on the game screen are blacked out. I can't click on them.
I don't believe I'm patched, as you say. How can I get the patch that might help?

If it still doesn't work, maybe you could save a game and send it to me and I'll see if it works on my system.

Edit:
Other things you could try: strip him of all items and try casting then, go to temple and cast restoration.

Thanks for the help uys. Not sure what the problem was but it's okay now. Maybe the patch fixed it. Thanks for the offer ZFR, all good now.
