Do the two bodies (one male one female), the dead cat, and the skull have any use later in the game once you've betten the Ice Fortress in Chapter 2 of the game? Also does Necadermus (might have spelled it wrong) ever call in the favor. After I completed all the quest needed in the Ice Fortress I keep asking him about the favor and he keeps saying not yet. I spent about 8 days sleeping to see if it would change but it doesn't and I went ahead into the Woods in Chapter 3. Also does any of the Item gained in chapter 2 have any impact on the future game? I.E. the extra wood and spider silk, the amulets and key's, the journal of Lyanas and Oria's note?

The bodies can be used for a humerous encounter at the end of the game, but aren't really needed, plus you can get more nearer the time. Nickodemus does call in the favour later on, just go therough teh game as normal and you'll get to it. And after you help Oswold, I don't think those things are ever used again.

Thanks. I just wanted to make sure that I wasn't throwing anything away that I'd need to carry on.

As a relative newbie myself (well, I'm not a newb, but I am a chronic restarter), I'm just curious as to what your party looks like, if you wouldn't mind sharing. |

That looks well-balanced, and the levels are fairly advanced for that point in the game, although no ECL races helps. Have you completed Battle Squares?
|
No, excpet for the required part to get the key I passed it by. On the higher levels my fighter could take out a few of the monsters, but then would get the floor moped with him. Tried every way I culd think of to keep my whole party in the room but it kept phasing all them out but my main guy. He's good, but not quite that good. He just ends up taking to much damage for me to keep up with.

Slight spoiler
* * * Well, you can go back to it at any time before joining Oswald for a second journey. There's a recent thread in this forum on methods for beating Battle Squares, which can be found here. To gain any aid from your party, you have to keep them out of sight of the golem. The only way to do that is to put them in the north hallway; they can help with ranged attacks and spells, but no melee. |
