I'm in second level of the ice fortress and have killed everything there. I just need to get the guy out of the alter, however I cant get the secret door to open. I fire the lighning bolt north with the mirror facing west. I've stationed someone there to see if it hits, it does. I've tried talking to Nicodameous after firing, he still isnt ready for help. Door still lovked saying I "Need to embrace the shadow".

Everthing I've read indicates I've done it all right, killed the sisters, returned Nathaniels equipment etc so is the game bugged for me or am I missing something? Which is entirely possible(note my name). Thanks in advance for any advice [img]smile.gif[/img]

I cant remember exactly but I think it involved something going to painting speaking "Lysan" having one member stand in shadow and then firing bolt...

I am still on the same problem.. When i try to go upstairs with my paladin it says "you must gather you party......." How to just go upstaits with the pala and talk to the painting? :(

No no...

Go with full party and talk to painting

then go with one member to stand in shadow while another fires bolt

(which btw has me thinking... how to do this in solo??)

Who ever said you needed to fire a bolt WHILE someone is on the shadow? I just did this with my solo sorcerer, simply by giving the shadow a quick hug then running back and zapping it (If I remember it correctly).
