Hi, i'm new here and love ID2 so far. Only problem is that the kuldahar map won't load. The game just exits to desktop during the load screen. My cd looks a little scratchy but nothing obvious, and i've tried cleaning it and copying the map file to my hard drive, which was recommended elsewhere. I was hoping someone might have a solution, like maybe the problem isn't the cd or maybe can mail or upload the file (it's 9mb tho). I could try to get one from bioware (black isle or so), but that's a drag so i thought i should try here first. Or i could just skip it with the cheat console.

Hmm...I had the same problem with Baldur's Gate: Shadows of Amn...I'd click on the map button and my game would exit to desktop! It was so annoying! I never did figure out what it was, but if I do, I'll update my post.

I cant upload the file if its that big (have 2MB or somesuch limit), but if you add me on msn or icq I could try send it.
