Nope. Due to different rule sets, this is not allowed. It would more or less allow you to roll your stats for IWD2, which would unbalance the game.

but i guess that would take the fun out of it. but i still feel sorry that i can't use them anywhere. by the by is it possible to use them in bg 1 or 2?

I've never tried that, but it may mess up the storyling (lack of your powers, etc.)

Icewind Dale 2 happen something like 50-100 years after the first one.

It was mentioned somewhere but I forgot the exact number...

The guys kid in IWD is about 10, making him at least 30. In IWD2 he is probaly 60 or 70 years old in this one. So that would mean about 20 to 40 years after. 50 would be the most time and than Conlan gets around well for an 80 year old.</font>

the actual time gap is mentioned in the IWD2 manual. no need to break your heads over it. is it not possible to import any one character to BG2?
