Is it the same items you receive in HoF mode as in normal mode?

How much better the weapons and armors you get are in HOF? I have played IWD2 pretty much, but currently I have it uninstalled. When I tested the HOF mode pretty long ago, the start was so hard that I didn't go any further. I started with new party, maybe I shouldn't have [img]smile.gif[/img]

Starting with a new level 1 party in HOF mode is doable, but it's VERY difficult and extremely tedious at the start. You have to adapt your stategy and spell selections quite a bit. You find that summoning spells are indispensable. [img]smile.gif[/img]

The armors are only slightly better but the weapons have some substantial improvements.
