I’ve wiped out the horde fortress and killed Guthma. Ive got Branston with me, but before I leave the fortress I want to loot all the rooms and there is one room I can not enter (top middle of map) My bard (5) rogue (1) can not pick the lock and my Barbarian with bulls strength (26) can not force the door. How do I get in? Is there a key? What is in the room?

Im not sure which room you mean, but I think you mean the room at the end of the corridor after you enter the Interior of the Fortress. Theres nothing special to that room...just a few spell casters and some loot(potions, IIRC)

Hmmm. I only just finished this last night myself and had no troubles at all with any doors, although a couple of them doors are subtly placed. You could try enraging your barbarian as well, although this probably wouldn't make much difference. :D

If you really need to know what's in there, you could always use a previous save and put more into your open lock skill at your rogue's next level up. Not sure if resting gets you some random encounters, but that might help if you're already close to your next level up. [img]tongue.gif[/img]

But yes, you're not missing out on that much I don't think...maybe a couple of magic scrolls or a potion here or two. ;)

I dont remember having any trouble opening anything, and my Rogue/Warrior is only 2/4. Open locks wasnt that high, and I know my aasimar sorcerer forced a few open with her l337 10str. Just keep spamming it, I dunno.
