Hello all,

I recently visited the Ice Temple and managed to destroy the lightning generator. I've scoured the temple and can't find any way to repair it. Do any of you have suggestions?

You can fix it, if I recall rightly, from the battle squares room by invoking the maintenance function.

Argh! Embrace the shadow!? What the heck does that mean? I've only got Lysans room left (and freeing the mercenaries) and then I can go on.

I can't figure out how to get past that damn shadow trap. Help. Please.

I'll give you hints: lightning, standing, mirrors.

Ok, I'm dense. I've been pouring over this all day and can't figure it out. My guess is that somehow I have to get a lightning bolt to hit the doorway. But I can't get the mirrors to align to accomplish this.

My wizards lightning bolts don't bounce off mirrors so that option is out.

Align the mirror so that the lightning would reach that part, then make someone to stand near the door you want to open, then turn the switch to activate the lightning. the lightning will travel through the bounces through the mirror and eventually will hit your character that will open the door.

Well now that is something I never would have guessed!

You don't have stand anyone in front of the door!
send your party into the hallway and then south through the door into the crypt. Do in all the Shadows and then look in the northwest corner and find a casket that is a secret door then open it.
Next make sure the hallway on the northwest is clear of anyone and then open the door to the mirror room. Everybody get clear of the doorway and send one party member back to the prism room to turn the prism to the south and then have him throw the switch that fires the lighting bolt. The Bolt will go through the crypt and into the mirror room and unlocking the door to the treasury.

one other tip. Look at every fallen body from this point on save any keys you find you'll need them soon.

Ok, all doors are opened except for the secret door to Lysan's room. I can teleport into her room by means of the oil painting/staircase but then I can't get out, because that damn secret door won't open. I have all of the keys that I could find but nothing seems to work.

I've shot the lightning generator in every direction possible (except west). Nothing is working.

If I could get that secret door open, I'm sure I could get the door that has a shadow trap on it open with the lightning generator.

Am I missing something?
