I'm in Dragon's eye and am stuck at the point with the levers which are next to the temple like platform which are guarded. I have killed the guardians and don't know what to do next. I know the area quite well after completing Icewind Dale HOW. Does anybody know what to do?

I dont know if it's what youre asking about but if youre referring to the statue, you have to put a fire agate gem in each of the braziers... if youre out of fire agates talk to nheero futma.

If thats not what you asked about perhaps you could tell what level it is and the exact location.

Sounds like you're down there near the alchemy lab. You can't move the lever yourself unless you have someone in the group with a very high alchemy skill.

If you don't have the modified mandrake root yet, then there's not much you can do down here. If you do have it, you can use the lab to make the potion and also the poison potions from the wyvern stingers. You'll have to coerce the alchemist into helping you.

Or you could pull the other one (north of the platform) at night with a cleric of sufficient level to release the.........thing ;)

Got another problem. I have a mandrake root but I can't (don't) know how to use it. I don't have a specific modified root so is that the problem. The southern lever is stuck and there is no sign of the alchemist D'hey Jazrrian. I have an alchemy level of 17. Is that high enough?

You must find the modified root.
it is in the wyveren nest, a ghost of some fellow will point it out for you.
But-you must get a certain sword first and give it to him.
check the level below under an iron golem, for the sword.

afterwards put the root in the lab, and hide.
the alchemist will pop up soon enough.
