Hi.
I'm in Dragon's Eye, and am trying to get the modified Mandrake Root that the dead guy dropped. I've awakened his spirit with the sword and his ghost showed me where he put it, but it's not there! I've checked 4 walkthroughs now and according to what they say the root should be in the ancient wyvern's lair right? Well, it's not. I've even looked up the cheat console lists to see if I can hack the modified mandrake root in, but still no luck. The game is uncompletable now, and I'm pretty disappointed (boo hoo :( ;) ). Does anyone have any suggestions or savegames that would get me past this dilemma?

Just to make sure you're looking at the right place:

The root is on second level of dragons eye, in the area that the only way to get to it is from the wyvern area of first level... I'm writing this because I had problems finding the root until I realized i was looking in the wrong place (I was looking for it in the nest on first level)...
Also use the Alt key.

yeah, I getcha [img]smile.gif[/img] But yes that is where I am looking, down the 'stairs' on the second level, where I killed the Ancient Wyvern... guess I'm screwed huh? [img]smile.gif[/img] I do have a savegame at the start of chapter 5, looks like I'm going to have to go through the Yuan Ti temple again... [img]graemlins/1disgust.gif[/img]

Are you sure about the cheat console? I've lookedi n an item list and see two entries for modified mandrake root: 61GENMM and 61GENMR. Try those; one should work to give you the root. Good luck.
