Is there anyway to get the ID2 portraits so that they can be viewed outside the game or used in other games?

I'm not sure that you can, maybe check the portraits directory if there is one in your IWD2 folder.I remember that IWD2 is really bad for portraits viewing and dling IMHO.

Change the game directory to your IWDII folder in the options, then expand the .bmp category. Browse through the .bmps until you find a portrait, then there should be an option to Save As or Export.
