woot! jus figured out how to post a pic! ... by the way, how to cure an energy drain?

oh, and im gettin slaughtered in chapter six at the entereance:( how do i prevent death?

Cure energy drain with the restoration spell... but sorry it's been so long I played (Almost a year) and don't remember what entrence you are talking about... [img]smile.gif[/img]

Let me guess: Fields of Slaughter: the lich that likes to cast Power Word: Kill?
Death Ward will prevent that effect. You should have the Zuvembie armor by now, and either a paladin or a cleric can cast Death Ward.

i used a restoration potion and energy drain didnt go away. slept and still didnt go away. used greater resoration potion and it didnt work, used teh spell restoration and it didnt go off...

the enterance just as you anter chapter six.... so everytime i die i have to enter through my saved game in chapter 5 ... its the outside of the severed hand...

Well, the cleric spell Restoration is supposed to cure Energy Drain, so if it doesn't work, either you've got a bug (are you patched to 2.01?), or it isn't actually an Energy Drain.

Is this perhaps what's killing you when you enter Chapter 6? Or is it something more specific with a big club/sword/axe ;) ?

Casting prot from eveil and summoning elementals (either through mage or better druid spells) should help (not with energy drain but with the fight)...

As for energy drain seems a bug... try casting a spell (or have an npc healer cast it) instead of potion

Further more Death Ward protects from <u>all</u> forms of Death Magic. [img]smile.gif[/img]

I had the same restoration-won't-cure-energy-drain problem. Just download the last patch and it will fix the problem.
P.S.
Death Ward will immunize you only to the death part of a spell. A Finger of Death will automatically give 3d6+level points of magic damage to a target protected by Death Ward. If I see someone casting Death Ward, I usually Harm them. Harm is a great spell.
