OK. I have a question about how to use certain magical items. For example, my wizard is wearing a Houndstooth Collar that says that he can cast Beast Claw once per day. How can I get that to happen. Or another one is the White Wyrm's Maw helmet thingy. That says that the wearer can cast White Wyrm's Breath or something like that once a day. I can't figure it out! Its driving me CRAZY! [img]graemlins/crazyeyes.gif[/img] And let me tell ya, that's not a far drive lately! As usual any help and/or advice would be appreciated.

There's an icon on your menu bar that looks like a little backpack. Click it and you should see an icon of the item that you want to use. Just click on that icon.

NOTE: If an item has 2 or more special abilities, the icon will appear under the backpack "use item" icon a number of times equal to the number of special abilities. To determine which icon to hit to use the specific ability you want to use, hover over each similar icon and a little description should appear.

If the backpack item isn't on your main menu bar, right click on one of the icons that you wouldn't mind losing. You should see a number of icons, one of which it the backpack icon. Left lick on the backpack icon and it will now appear on the main menu bar.

That's all true, but the item has to be <u>equipped</u> before it will show up when you try to "use item":

• If a book or wand, the item must be in one of the Quick Item Slots;</font>
• If a piece of armor or amulet, the item must be worn by the character wanting to use it.</font>
