I wasn't able to create the poison to kill it, so now i'll have to do it the oldfashioned way. But what exactly is needed to inflict damage to that thing ?

afaik, the only way to do it is with poison.

maybe a spoiler, not sure of it.


go to the laboratory whith the cages, dump the notes and the ingredients in the table and start checking it and cliking on it with your mouse. Charachter preferably must be with high int, or alchemy. If you do not have such charachter, it does not matter, i think.

A spear+3 did the job in this case. It took some experimenting, but i finally killed the damn thing. :D

Killing it the old-fashioned way is entirely possible, but it is VASTLY more difficult than just chucking the poison into the Visicamera.
