My bard got level 11 and got war chant of sith... however it is not working..

I do get the message "Bard - Singing battlesong war chant of sith" however i get no armor bonus and no regeneration... the battlesong icon doesnt appear on any of my characters portaraits... My bard is not silenced or deaf, and besides all other songs work just fine, only this one doesnt... i do have the patch

any suggestions?

The song only works while you are in combat.

and how was I supposed to figure that out?? its not mentioned in the manual nor anywhere in the game.... I reinstalled the game and wasted 2 hours of my time searching the net thinking its a bug...

I was confused too... and yet for me, it has worked out of combat... ?

Both Patches are supposed to enable the song to work in non-combat situations....make sure you are up on all patches....other than that I dont know...

what both patches?... i know only about one patch... the one about which is the sticky thread in these forums

That said, my Bard just got to the level to use the chant and I don't think it's working outside of combat (I had to leave the game for a while -- will check in the next day or so).

well, for me if the designers of the game decided that the chant is used only in combat then I'll stick with that, no mods to alter that... thanks anyway to all
