I have cleared out the fortress of the bugbear leader and other monsters and have come across the character Braston who was locked in a cell. I try to escort him out of the fortress but he does not show up outside.

He says to wait for him outside but he never shoes up. When I go to Enna(?) who is his lover she asks where he is and I choose to say that we freed him but he never showed up. She then acts worried and goes away.

Is this supposed to happen? I tried to exit the fortress with him but he doesn't show up and allow me to escort him back to his lover.

Any insight on this, anyone?

Once you open his cell and tell him to come out, he will start walking (slowly) toward the exit. Once he is there, you can leave that area, and wait until he cross over the next area, once he is at the exit, you can exit that area, too. Then let him meet up with the female ranger, first.

Your problem BigT arises from the fact that youre walking too fast... walk slowly and ensure that hes always following you. Once youre at the area exit, make sure hes next to you and exit... like Luvian said he will follow you outside

Walk slowly to the door of the fortress. Wait until he floats "Hurry up, this way." Then exit the fortress and make sure he is right behind.
