Okay...okay...everyone is talking about the best class and the best combination...i want to know what y'alls opinon on the worst class is. IMHO, it would be a duergar bard, because they SUCK. mine won't even cast his spells, that SOB

So? And what's his charisma? If isn't at least 10+spell level, he won't be casting anything. Bard spells are from the sorcerer list.

What is wrong with paladins? My Paladin ended up with more kills than my barbarian, less than my Monk though.

Anyway, ontopic, as far as I'm concerned, there are no best or worst classes. It all depends on your playing style and preference. Any class can be effective. Now as for race/class combinations, that's a different story. As has already been noted, a Duergar Bard would be quite pointless because of the race's severe charisma penalty, just like a Duergar Sorceror or a Svirfneblin Bard or Sorceror. But apart from those four combo's, any class or race/class combo is more or less doable and/or fun to play, if you use the right tactics.
