I know that this is probably a stupid question, but i was wondering if anyone out there has actually bead IWD2 yet? I was wondering this because, unlike the BG2 and TOB forums where there are LOTS of questions about the end of the game, in this forum, it seems like there are no questions concerning chapter 5 or 6. In fact, i have heard very little in the way of anyone actually finishing the game at all. If you have beat the game, please give your opinion of the end WITHOUT SPOILING IT! I.E- I really liked the end, i brought everything together, or I hated the end, i felt like i wasted 100 hours of my life.

yes, I beat the game 5 times, 5 on normal and 5 on HOF mode.

Quite a few people here have finished the game. Thing is, IWD2 has been out a long time now, as games go, so there isn't as much chatter about it as when it was first released.

I've finished the game several times myself, normal and HOF. Personally, I thought the finale was something of a letdown. Not one of the better finishes.

Yea, if you look for older posts (from the summer) you'll find lots of stuff. I've beaten if a couple times. The ending wasn't bad, better than NWN I thought.

From the summer? even just a month or two ago...

There were quite a few posts on the board when the game first arrived and for some time after. However, then there was some sort of problem with the site (it wasn't available), and then - I'm a little hazy here - for some reason, most of the messages in this area were gone.

When it started up again, there weren't as many new posts, because the game was "old" by then, and not that many new IWD2 players were coming on. It's a pity about that, because there was a lot of good info in those old posts :(

Well I can see posts from september 2002 in this forum by choosing 'show all posts'. And I think that's when the game was released? Maybe after IW was down before Christmas you had your 'show posts from x days ago' set so posts before it went down didn't show anymore?

Anyway I've finished it, only in normal mode though, Piestrider [img]smile.gif[/img] . I thought the last few battles were pretty good, but the actual finale, while not as bad as NWN, was a little disappointing.
