Just wanting to share some of my crews exploits.
1. my dwarven cleric keeps summoning Boneguard skeletons (which just rule), I think they must be immune to normal weapons because 1 of the mighty warriors usually lasts me all day untill I rest, no matter how many battles I go through.
I've just been tanking the thing up front and standing off with me crew and firing missiles each battle. great for early game when my party is low level.

2. the stupid Fire starter Orks !! lol. it was the first journey out of the first town, my little halfling thief sneaks up front on scouting missions. I saw an ork sentry and backstabbed him. Suddenly I realised there were other Orks hiding behind some bushes and... 3...2...1.... KABOOOM !!
-all the Orks fell dead to the exploding barrel..my thief walked out unharmed
woohoo !

3. The ship captains wife doesn't think much of her husband huh. (first villiage, down near the docks)

Wasn't it his mother?

Are boneguard skeletons summoned by a pretty high level spell? If they're immuine to normal weapons, I'd assume. How did you get that much XP so early in the game?

i know karl, good point there...the kegs of blasting are a fun way to kick some booty but you also fork over some XP and when NO enemies in dragon's eye give you experience except for Feyrs and those goofy other guys, you need all the experience you can get right now...and no, somedude, i had the same idea its still using the enemy's artillery against them and by the game's rules that means no XP

and, dragonslayer, what are the stats of your fighter? Because I'd really like a tank like that.

yes it is his mother. sorry, that was a typo. I was probably thinking from his father's perspective as I'd just been given the whole rant about what a rotten old thing he was, and how she's basically glad he's dead.

The summon spell for my cleric is about 3rd level, and he's a battleguard of tempus, so it's also in his diety spells section. I AM pretty early in the game (I think), I've just finished the Ice Palace, but he's been summoning boneguards since my first sorte out of the starting town. (and now it's Elite Boneguards and Zombie Kings, but I hate the zombies as they're so slow).

Lastly, I'm not really powergaming... I'd rather some entertaining roleplaying than a few exp points for some orcs (besides, it happened before I realised, so it's not like I deliberately did it).

Hmmmmm, the first time I got near there, I had no idea that there were those stupid orcs, then all of a suden........ my mage fell flat on his back, dead!!
