I'm a bit curious about how the bonus ability points that you get every 4 levels work. If my memory serves, in PnP 3rd edition rules you can only get up to a maximum of 4 bonus points (Its been quite a while since I played ,so correct me if I'm wrong). Does it work the same way in IWD2? or do you keep gaining them until you character's level max's out?, so by the time you reach lvl 28 you should have a max of 7 bonus points.

I've checked the manual but to be entirely honest compared to the IWD1 or BG manuals I find it pretty feeble and unhelpful.

There's no limit on the bonus stat points; you get one every fourth level in both IWD2 and 3rd ed regular rules.
