Hello all,
I have a question about these new 3rd Ed. rules and rangers. If I understand correctly, a ranger has ambidexderity and dual wield feats automatically. If that is the case, why can I still choose them? Will it benefit my ranger at all if I choose them again, along the lines of specialization, or should I just ignore them? Thanks! Rankor |
Rangers are treated as if they had Ambidexterity and Two-Weapon Fighting feats ONLY if they're wearing light or no armor. When wearing medium or heavy armor, they're just like everybody else. So the feats are still available for you to get if you want your ranger to have Ambidexterity and Two-weapon Fighting when wearing heavier armor.

If your ranger has a high dexterity there is no problem then ;)

Dang! That is some good information. Thanks a lot!

Also taking the feats again won't make the ranger any better at dualing; all it would mean is that you could dual in armor above none or light.
