Is there anyway to make the cocky jerk visible again after he casts Improved Invisibility on himself?
|
Imp. Invis is slightly buggy in the original release; you can't target someone directly who has this spell active. Dispel Magic might work. Or you could just go after Madae instead. I usually go for her myself, since she doesn't have a fireshield up.
You could also install the patch. However, the patch changes a number of things in the game, so you may not want to.
Nightowl2
|
I'm already patched. Dispel magic refused to cooperate.

There should be a spell that's called "see invisiblity" or something. I think that only the druid and cleric can aquire them.
Nom ------------- Who is the more foolish? The fool or the fool that follows him. |
The second level Wiz/Sorc spell "See Invisibility" might work, as might the 3rd level cleric spell, Invis Purge. But I still think it's better to go after Madae.

Nightowl2
P.S. There is an outright 50% chance that you will miss any invis creature. The Blindfight feat can help overcome that. |
Invisibilty Purge didn't work because of Isair's magic resistance.
|
Well, I suppose you could try Lower Resistance, but my guess is you wouldn't get too far with that one, either. Now you know why I always go after the dear sister instead ;)

"See Invisibilty" worked this time. The sneaky bugger must have been out of range the last time I used it and it failed. The big wuss is easy to stomp when you can see him. :))

hmm... nightowl, from your post I really wonder what madea did to you to deserve it.
