Is this game 3d? I'm looking for a 3d game with lots of customization and personalization features. Like, can you create an entire party and stuff like that?

No, the game is 2D, you see your merry band on screen all the time.

As for customization, yes. You can create a party to suit your taste. A full party of six, or fewer (though 6 is better first time around). Check some of the threads on the board for an idea of what you can do.

I think Neverwinter Nights would be more what your looking for. It's 3d, alot of customization potential plus the ability to create your own adventures/modules endlessly. The only downfall is you do not get to host an entire party but simply one character.

Neverwinter nights isn't 3D is it? As I remeber it, it was the same format as IWD, just with one character (and companion, and summoned, and henchman)

No, NWN has 3D effects and the ability to zoom the camera so it is more 3D. Nowhere near as good as IWD2 though.
