Hey-o,

I got all of the stuff Oswald needs to fix his ship, but I haven't figured out how to give them to him. I tried to get my alchemist to mix the Belladona and the potion thingy. I tried to sell all the components to him. I placed all the components on the table where I found the book.

But he's not, er, buying. What do I need to do, please?

p.s. Are there ANY potions my alchemist can mix? So far, no luck....

You should just have to put them on the table. Are you sure you have them all?

If you can't get it to work though it's not necessary to continue; when you finish up the ice temple you can give whatever you've found to Nathaniel and he'll go give them to Oswald and get the ship happening again.

You need:

Thrym extract (on ship floor, or get from Remorhaz)
Spider silk (from frost spiders; only need 1)
Wood (just one, any woodpile will do)
2 diamonds (one from locked crate in ship; can buy 2nd from Zack)
Belladonna (from Ilium, or from Zack if you don't have any)
Cheap metal (regular weapon or junk metal from Yurst's body)

Then put everything on the table where you found the book, and you should see a poof! happen. Then talk to Oswald.

Yup, got it all, unless a plain, unmagical dagger is too metalic?

A dagger should be fine. But if it should happen not to be enough for some weird reason, you can try a piece of shattered metal from Yurst's body. One time I forgot to have an ordinary weapon with me for this, and I grabbed his broken sword. That worked fine.

No need to BUY a second diamond from Zack. There should be a second diamond on the map where Oswald's ship crashes. Look up in the "rotunda" within Andoora village. There are a number of small holes around the rotunda - use the "alt" key to highlight them - and there is a second diamond in one of those holes (and some other nice treasure too). Well, that might tick off the Aurilites. Personally, I preferred not to fight them, given that they're being suckered by you-know-who, and they aren't hostile initially. Besides, I had plenty of money and needed to buy something with it ;)

also, a cheap way to do it, is just give it to Nathaniel, or at least most of it. i was missing a diamond, and the iron, and i got past it. but giving it 2 ozzy works 2.
