I'm kinda new here. How do you change your "social status". I'm an Elite Waterdeep Guard but I saw some1 is different like Elminster, another one is Zhentarim Guard... How do you change it?!

One more thing, when will the alchemist go away
(in the third level of Dragon's I)?!

You must be new to posting in forum boards as most boards have implemented this kind of stuff. Anyway, the post ranking system is explained in detail in the "Rules and Regulations". You might want to check it out again to have a better idea on how the ranking system works as well as the types of ranks available.

To answer the other question, I don't think the alchemist leaves unless you kill him. Are you having a problem with him?

Ooooh.... so thats how. THANKS for the help!

Yes, NightOwl, I want to sneak into the lab and replace the original with the sabotaged one. My mage has 22 alcemy skill and I wanna do it by myself (you know the brewing) but the Alchemist won't go away. If I talk to him on the other hand, he just calls the guards and I cant force him into making the brew.

I think you can replace the brew with the alchemist standing right there. Or talk to him using a PC with high Intimidate skill. That should scare him into leaving you alone and keeping quiet.

There are several ways to do this. The easiest is usually to have your best intimidating person scare the alchemist into doing the task.

The next way is to sneak someone in the lab (imp invis is best) to make the switch.

Or, if your alchemy is high enough, you can kill him off and do it yourself. All that really matters is that he has fixed the lever that controls the lab. Once the switch works, you don't really need him.

Don't forget to transmute four wyvern stingers into poison on the other table. You can do this the same time as you do the mandrake root stuff.
