I just finished IWD2 in normal mode. I had six characters in my party. No Assimars or tieflings.

My party only levled up to 16. I read some threads that said I should be at around level twenty when I am done. Any ideas on where I went wrong?

I am in HOF mode with 3 of my oringal party and three new characters. And the battles are tough.

Average finishing levels for normal play are 15-17, so your party was right on as far as xp goes. I suppose if you did every possible quest, killed every monster, you might be higher, dunno if it's possible to hit 20 with a full group.

Yeah, HOF mode is quite a step up in difficulty, and expect it to become harder as you go. Monsters rarely miss because they have very high to-hit. VERY high.

Zoltan, keep in mind the game will catch up to you. Monsters will start giving fewer points, and you can easily reach the moment when you get little or nothing for combats. That's why it's so important to do quests (aside from the plot-critical ones), because you always get a fixed number of points for those, regardless of level.
