WooHoo!!
Just got me a copy of IWD2. Started a new game with me, Zuvio, as a solo sorcerer Lawful Good. I got 3 (yes, T-H-R-E-E) hitpoints!! This is gonna be great! |
Well, good luck with a solo character in a game you haven't played before. Not what I would do, but to each his own ;)
Any special reason for going solo on the first run?
Nightowl2
|
Good luck,Sephiroth.

Well, yeah, its a bit tricky to go solo on a first run, especially a sorcerer at lvl 1. I may have to reconsider my party, add a ranger elf and a paladin. But the first run is always experiencing the game, so any mistakes can be easily, and more efficiently corrected.

BTW, does IWD2 have a bag of holding or something like BG2? [ 10-26-2002, 04:46 PM: Message edited by: Zuvio ] |
Yeah there are two bags of holding in the game. You'll pick up the first one when you do the "save the bridge" quest in chapter one. The other you'll be able to buy from a merchant in chapter five. You can also pick up a scroll case, a gem bag (for all sorts of jewelry), and a potion bag. These are all easy to come by, and great for keeping inventory more or less neat.
You'll probably want at least a couple of more characters in your party, given the amount of combat and number of combatants in the game.
Nightowl2
|
Good advice, bags of holding are vital for a solo'er.
