I need a real knowlegble com wiz to identify something for me. I apparently don;t have a Pentium of any sorts but some cheap defect family chip thingy. But heres the weird part, my other games say i have a Pentium II 700 mhz, and perform pretty smoothly (Video, sound everything). But Heroes of Might and Magic performs VERY Dogedly (mostly in sound, and the video scenes) I have never had this serious a prob before, can someone tell me what is up with my com??

It would be easier to identify your problem, if you could post your complete system data, the OS you use, if something like firewalls or anti virus software ist installed or which other programs are runnning in the background. Also it is always a good idea to have the newest drivers for your hardware, especially graphics and sound.
