<font color = lightgreen>I must be drawing some sort of blank here, or having a momentary lapse of concentration, or something like that. My question is this: how is it possible to read or write scripts for IWD2?
My Near Infinity cannot translate the IWD2 scripts, Infinity Explorer is useless, and Axe (hex editor) gives me only coded/compiled scripts (impossible to translate back into user-friendly language). Am I missing something, or what?

Well in IWD2 the scripts are very different, and they actually warn that Near Infinity won't work thoroughly with it on the website. Some things work but most of the good stuff does not as i've been looking into it myself.
