Before I Moved on from dragons eye I took the medallion back to Hrothgars Glen. Thank Goodness for Mass heal and resurrection. Those fighter were tough. In particualar the one that appears north west. Keddalar of something like that. I killed all the other NPC this guy would not drop. I tried just to run out of the Glen Like BG2 but you had to stay unitl he was dead.
Here is the Kicker. I have no paladin in my Group. LOL. I could not use the sword. When i go through again I will have a Paladin in my party. |
Yea, I had no Paladin in the group as well but I thought of giving my fighter one level of Paladin until I realised that she wasn't Lawful Good either. Dang!
I'd hate having to create a Lawful Good Pally for the sole reason of weilding the sword though. I guess having Anomen in my party for Baldur's Gate 2 gave me a bad impression of Pallys. |
I thought Anomen was a Cleric/Fighter? Did he become a paladin after you do his quest?
|
Is horthar glen, the graveyard north of Kuldahar's watch tower? How do you activate the quest? I went back there but nothing happened.... :(
Is the medillion the only item to activate the quest? |

Timberwolf, Once you get the medallion, which is in dragons eye, go back to the Glen(you have the right spot) and click on the grave stones. When you click on proper stone five tough NPC characters teleport in and fight you. be prepared it is the toughest battle I have faced in this game.

Well, Anomen sorta turned into somewhat of a Pally wannabe IMHO. If I recall correctly, even his alignmnet changed from Lawful Neutral to Lawful Good. He was essentially a pain in my party because he kept hitting on my main character.

Timberwolf Ifeel your pain. Everyone was tellin me to walk around the Glen but you have to Click on the old Farmers Gravestone just above the grave with no tombstone. Says he died in 1300 DR and then some serious #$%@ goes down and these insane... well you'll see!

My 15th level cleric cast Undead Ward to devastating effect in the battle with the baddies. Turns out that they are undead, too. All the big bad Holy Avenger hogs turned yellow and ran around in circles while the undead they summoned did likewise. Had I known that ahead of time I would have given a scroll of Undead Ward to my Paladin and let the Cleric cast another; one ward next to each of the enemy spellcasters. *THAT* would have disrupted the buggers.

I cast undead ward and Lost Followers just laughed at me!!!!!
Hmmm..... The hardest of the 6 seem to be that Kaevan. Esp when he does 80+ damage per hit.... I ORS-ed Inhein immediately.... she isn't much of a threat, but the sheer number of Apocolyptic BoneGuards she manages to summon are!!! Summon a couple of monsters to keep Jaiger the archer busy..... Mage and druid flamestrike + Sols Searing on the mage to the north. Hopefully you have enough other summons to keep Kaervan off your characters whilst ehy go after Khree (1st on my list) then Veddan. By the time you get thru Kaervan, send one of your fighters to take out Jaeger (he should be nearly thru with your summons by now); whilst the rest get ready to pound the cleric the moment ORS is over. ------------------------------ That has to be one of the hardest battles in the game (so far, i am nearly thru Severed HAnd. Not sure if I could repeat it successfully everytime too. Only other battle i can think of that is as hard or harder is the LICHE in BG2, Kangaxx or whatever his name was. ------------------------------ The Cera Sumat is truely wicked, the only other sword my Paladin uses nearly as often is "Death's Bane".
