I've seen a couple list of magic items for the game that showed at least one if not two different items that could be made out of the dead cat...anyone know where these are? and what needs to be done to start the quest or whatever?

First I've heard that you can make something out of the dead cat. The only person I know in the game who makes something is Oswald, and he only works with boring beetle shells and pelts from yetis and wolves.

What are these items that you saw?

Well, they are half-orc only items, and consists of basically magical dead-cat treats. One can cure up to 3 hps 3/day, and the other does 10 hps 3/day...only usable by half-orcs.

Granted they aren't great magical items, but I'd like to see the storyline/quest associated with them.

but you can get some kind of reward (and I don't recall what it was, xp or gems or something most likely) by returning the one you find in the warehouse to it's owner (the ship captain's mother in her house by the docks).

As for items made, sorry, haven't heard that one. There is another dead cat in the Ice Temple, though.

Ok, so while we're on the subject of toting dead things around with us, can anyone tell me if the bodies found in the Ice Temple (room with all the broken wooden gadgets) are used anyplace? Any reward for finding them or something? :D

Yeah, all the dead bodies are part of scaring Yquog in the Severed Hand. The more you have, the better the result (one of each kind plus the cat is enough).

If you happened to have killed him back in the warrens, you don't need to carry around any of the bodies.
