Just checked it's the 18th of October. Hopefully that date won't change as it's already been delayed alot, fingers crossed anyway.

The 1st of November? WOW! I'm in Malaysia, and I bought the game a month ago...
And in Malayisia, since pirated CDs are in abundance and legal (either that or the police can't be bothered to stop them) they had already copied it. Fake copies usually come out months after their realease date. I bought Might and Magic 8 from the NEW! section, After might and magic 9 came out! (I'm still disappointed with the grahics however.

m&m 8 was decent, but too short and easy with the ability to hire dragons.
(where is the challenge of getting the ability to perminantly fly and breath 10+1d10/level damage a round?)

m&m 9 was a tragic last gasp mistake by a dying company. the less said the better. I am ashamed at buying it.

Wizardry 8 was very good, with suprisingly pleasant graphics and mood moozic. Great char development... Only letdown was exceedingly long battles.

IDW2 seems a good sucessor to wiz8 and IWD1... time will tell. now where are those pesky orcs?
