I've just finished IWD2. I'm now contemplating plans for a differently composed party in the future. As with any other CRPG, I missed a few things the first time around. The official manual is a hunk of junk when it comes to the magic items. So, can anyone please tell me where I could find ...
Brazen Bands (+5 A.C. when worn on wrists) Every God Ring (+5 Wisdom) Druid's Stone (stoneskin once a day) Short Sword of Flurry +3 (extra attack each round) Sad Giant's Cap (magic buckler shield) Tymora's Loop (+3 luck ring) Thanks again to anyone who's kind enough to comment. |
The only one I know for sure is the Every God ring. Nathaniel has that for sale in the Kuldahar tower.
I recall seeing the Druid's Stone for sale somewhere, but don't recall who had it.
Nightowl2
|
The brazen bands, from memory...
In the village just b4 the fell wood, there is a dodgy drow merchant. He sells an Eftreeti bottle. Buy the bottle, summon the Efreeti, and instead of buying / selling with him, just free him. he'll give you the bands out of gratitude for your magnanimity. |
You know, I ran through the game twice...once with an evil party and once with a good party...my good party found tymora's loop (quite nice +3 luck), and I haven't got a clue where I picked it up. It's late in game though...I think someplace in the hand or fields of slaughter.

Efreeti in a bottle? I never saw Nym have that for sale. Are you sure about that? Was that on HOF difficulty?

I think you have to install the 'special merchants patch' from the bonus cd to get things like the Avarine Decanter (where the Efreet is bound).

AAAAaaaarrrrrrrhhhhgggg!!! Lousy bonus CD marketing gimmick! The wost part is IT WORKS! And I wish I had the collecters addition... :( Oh well. One more reason to play the game through again when they release it as a patch.

if i am not mistaken, the short short can be found in Kuldahar either the father or the son is selling it. If it is the son you must free the ariel servant before you can buy it.

umm, neither sell it...at least not in regular mode.
BTW, the ring of tymora is a random dropped item...it's not for sale anywhere. |
