Hi, ive just got to chapter 7 and id thought id go to that big magic shop in baldurs gate b4 i go and do whatever i have to, and talked to the guy (not the one selling the stuff but the other guy) ordulian and he said...

'Ah, the bloodstone amulet of Arkion and Nephres Onyx ring, i hope no blood was shed to get these for that may yet, Blah blah blah...
I will give this cloak, it may be some use to your in the future'

and then i get 3500 exp but no cloak? is this a bug? i didnt even know i had a quest off this guy but he said he'd give me a cloak and then no cloak, hmm.....

Don't worry the cloak isn't that great. It's probably just a bug, but by this stage of the game, you have tons of great equipment and a huge pile of money, so it doesn't matter.

ive only got 2 cloaks though :(

I believe Ordulinian was originally supposed to give you the Nymph Cloak. That story was scrapped, however, in exchange for a much better way of obtaining the Cloak--apparently, BioWare just forgot to amend his dialogue.

I hear there's a patch out there (probably one of the BaldurDash Fixpacks) that makes him give you a Cloak (most likely a Cloak of Protecion+1) with that dialogue.
