Hi all.

I'm having a problem getting the experience on to work...

I hit the control tab... and in the box type...

ctrlaltdelete:setcurrentxp(<8500>)

then hit enter twice.

This should raise the experience of the character up to 8500 correct?

But all I get is a message saying..

"Wrong parameters : Check the parameter lists. Strings must be in quotes. Make sure to enclose parameters in () and separte parameters with a comma."

What does this mean?

NOW, I have tryed to put the whole thing in quotes

"ctrlaltdelete:setcurrentxp(<8500>)"

and got the "Nice try cheater" thingy.

How can I get this to work?

I've also tried to get experience using the Control - U commands after enabling the cheat keys, but it doesn't work either. Other Control commands work, so I know I have it set up right, example, Control - J teleports me where I want on the screen.

This really is a big deal, as I change my mind alot when it comes to characters. I've already started this game 6 times now, changing the characters. I grow VERY tired of replaying the start of this game over and over and over again. I want to be able to play the game, and if a character get's tired to me, I can just erase him, and then make a new one and give him experience so he's up with the rest of the group.

YES, I've tried delete the character, make a new one and have him start at 1st level and bring him with my group, but I get killed HUGE when I do that. I need all 6 characters at full strength to get anywhere in this game.

I feel my interest in the game slipping away already becasue I'm forced to restart the game so often. I've only ever got as far as Chapter 2.

Please help me with this.

Get rid of the <> signs in the ()... That should do it...

Thanks for the tip... it did work after changing the <> to ()'s..

I've never given myself anything in the game. I dont' use the cheats. Just the experience thing and Control - J... and then ONLY once the area is cleaned out so I don't have to walk back accross the screen to get to the next area.
