Mendal is on the second floor of Dragon's Eye. From the entrance stay at the top and go right - - - be careful tho - - -there will be an Indiana Jones boulder that will chase you down a narrow passage so i suggest haste on one of your guys.

Mendal's corpse is at the end of this passage right next to a chest.
