I can't seem to get into the Dragon's Eye ... I killed all the baddies along the path, disabled the traps ... am I missing something? It just won't let me get anywhere from this screen.

Did you go in the cave at the end of the bridge?

Just figured it out ... I had accidentally killed the lady at the end - my theif was invisible, and i crit hit her ... so she couldn't open the eye ... thanks, though ...
