1/ If you have a multiclassed character with one prodominant class (Paladin 2/ Sorcerer X, Fighter 4 / Barbarian X), for the sake of simplicity he is just considered of the prodominant class (Sorcerer or Barbarian). Otherwise the poll would have 110 choices
2/ If you have a multiclassed with two equal classes Paladin X / Fighter X, choose Multiclass X/X. You may write the details in this thread. Enough rant the poll is HERE! in ironworks poll section. |
So far 11 votes.
91% play with a size 6 party Clerics followed by Fighters and Rogues are the most popular classes. Bards are by far the least popular: So far no-one has one |
Great poll!
I congratulate you on such an interesting topic. FYI, I was one of the people that voted as having a multi-class char. She is a fighter-mage...but I have not yet given her the mage ability yet. I wanted to strengthen her sowrd arm up a bit. |
I have a bard. And she's multi-class. (Bard/Cleric) Mostly Bard. Cute thing. Great singing voice. She'd soon as gut you as look at you...
Your poll, btw, really wasn't easy for me to decide where to go, even with the explanations. But I could see why you limited it... My tanks: 1. Fighter - Tiefling. Pure fighter all the way. Severe charisma penalty. 2. Druid/Fighter - Half-elf. Mostly Druid. Better tank than a ranger. My utility characters: 3. Cleric (Lath...)- Moon Elf. Low strength & dex. (10 ea.) High Wis & Chr. 4. Bard/Cleric (Mask) - Tiefling. Charisma limited, not that big of a deal. My horde crushers: 5. Enchanter - Human. Power casting enchantments... :) Hold that tiger! 6. Transmuter - Tiefling. 20 INT = mondo spells! The problem will be the Bard/Cleric which will develop into Bard/Cleric/Fighter (+Mage?).... and will incur many penalties and what-not, but, hey, it's my game. Woohoo! This is interesting, as no one in my party is capable of offensive magic:
Paladin of Helm- nadda Morninglord of Lathander- nope Ranger- uh yea right Barbarian and Monk of the Old Order- it's brains OVER bronze That is, if you don't include the domain spells, well maybe.. Anyways, as soon as I hit level 5 for my Ranger it's time to intermingle with the Sorceress ideology (but that low CHA doesn't help any..) |

Btw I am one of those who has a multiclassed X/X, too. In my case she is a Paladin 8 / Fighter 8, Moon-Elf. |
i guess my party's a little odd (going by the poll results)
tiefling - bard, talks a good fight, in general runs around singing while all sorts of monsters chase her. gold dwarf - ftr druid, fights a good talk, in general the bard tries to hide behind him & his mighty hammers, he's also the pack mule of this group. asamir - paladin, (helm) no suprise here. if he wasn't dumb as a post he could be the leader. tiefling - monk, (old order, may go for some ninja action later) also carries a bunch of gear for his comrades who are too weak or lazy to do their own work. halfling - rogue + few ftr levels breaking the trend of ranger / rogue, but the end result is the same, dual wield small blades and in general being sneaky. plus i love the male bard voice pack, i keep expecting him to start ranting about turnips... wild elf - barbarian + sorc just a few levels of barbarian for some hitpoints and a little speed, then delving into pure casting flaming goodness. |
