OK, i have got 2 mages and my question is:
what feats and skills are most useful to them?
(i already figured out that the first gets the feats(or was it skills?) to identify scrolls and potions and the other one gets the ones to identify weapons but what else? are the spell focuses good? i mean i cant do much with "the difficulty of the spell is decreased by 2" or whatever is there....

Spell Focus, Spell Penetration, the elemental attack boosters (aegis of Rime etc.), Subvocal Casting and Combat Casting are all good choices. Iron Will and Great Fortitude are good choices if you have scrimped on your mage's wisdom or constitution.

Also, the Dodge and Deflect arrows feats aren't too bad either, if you can't think of any other feats to take.
