I was just passing through DE5, and I got curious, does anyone have any theories about what these Yuan-Ti torture devices would actually do to a person?

I was thinking that they looked suspiciously like some of the weights machines we have at the gym, maybe the Yuan-Ti like to exercise their victims to death?

It's a bed that folds out of the wall. The torturers strap their prisoners down in it and speak about yuan-ti philosophy until their ears start bleeding. [img]smile.gif[/img]

It looks a bit to me like one of those slicers that you use on hard-boiled eggs. You just fit the egg in the little indentation, lift the top part (with the sharp wire stretched across it,) and push it down onto the egg, filleting it.

Now, picture that being done to a person...

It could be a form of iron maiden... That, or a fold out bed like Aerich said.
