Im playing Icewind dale currently at in first chapter, in the place with the big radiator tree....

You can buy all sorts of scroll with all the magic spells from some crazy wizard guy

BUT what do with them??
Can drag them into ur spell book or somthing?
How do u get your mage to memorise or learn more spells

right click and choose "write magic"
be careful, there is a chance of it not being successfull. the higher the intelligence the better the chance of succeding

You can also pick up a Potion of Genius... it raises INT by 4, and will increase the chances of sucessfully memorising a spell, as well as the max spells a level you can scribe.

You can also save game just before attempting memorize. Reload if your Mage fails. Save immediately after a successful memorization. Repeat for each spell memorized.
