i have two questions: I'm a little confused. My Icewind Dale game has no title, it just says...'Icewind Dale'. But if they're the same thing, great, because i need help. I went to Khuldahar and saw Arundel, and he sent me to the Vale of Shadows, and then I went into the big huge tomb thing where I met the spirit who was bound to the halls. He told me of the ice godess, Auril or something, and of how the girl was trying to distort his "palace". Where do I find this "Aurilite" (as he so kindly put it) Any help will be appreciated! TIA!

Oh, nevermind about the Heart of Winter. It took me this long to figure out that they're two diff. games. The one i'm having trouble on is Icewind Dale. *embarrassed*

Good to see some new adventurers in IWD.

The 'Aurilite' you need to confront has a den in the Vale. She uses the cave in the middle of the map, as opposed to the crypts around the outside. After you have got your reward from Kresseleck be sure to ask around town about the girl for an extra reward.

If you visited all the entrances in the Vale before you entered the big tomb, you will have found the Aurilite priestess' camp already.

It's the cave with yeti in it; right outside that cave was the yeti chieftan that had Mirek's heirloom necklace.

If you haven't been there before, it is in the centre of the map, as Midget Gems said. More specifically, go to the left of the big statue. There's a path leading down and to the right - at the end of the path is a cave entrance. She's inside.

Note that the Aurilite priestess only appears there after you have talked to Kresselack.

its been a while since i played but i think that if you have not spoken to lysan at the inn at kuldahar, the aurilite won't be in the cave.

lysan is the aurilite in case you were wondering about the connection.

next you need to accept the task of eliminating the aurilite as opposed to the other option which says that you need to think about it.

a small suggetion: best t loot the cave before and then engage her in combat. she will not appear unless all the above thing have been done.

Dan has a lot of helpful hints as well as the best walkthrough.
