Im having a problem finding a valid link to the IWD HOW patch v1.41. Can anyone direct me to a valid link so I can download and install this patch?

A better solution is to download the Trials of the Luremaster expansion (TotLM or TotL, familiarly). It contains the final patch to the game, v1.42. It is also a free expansion that adds at least another 10 hours of gameplay.

To further expound on Aerich's excellent advice: If you have HoW (which I highly suggest you get if you don't already have it) then install IN THIS ORDER: IWD; HoW; and TotLM. This completely and totally patches your game. No other patches are needed nor desired (i.e., do not install the v1.41 patch after installing TotLM!).

Oh, and TotLM adds another 10 hours if you are one of those D&D speed demons. 30+ hours is much closer to the truth for me.</font>

Also if I may add... a good place to get TotL from if you have dial-up is Kazaa. That's where I got mine from.
