Hey Ive played through IWD like 20 times and i was gonna do it again but use the cheats ctrl = tab thing to bump and max out my party's exp and stuff but when i push ctrl = tab nothing happens i put the cheats=1 in the .ini file and still nothing any ideas???

Do you have HoW? I have it installed and in the Icewind config program there is a checkbox in the gameplay tab that enables/disables the cheat console. You may have to use that route instead of the .ini file if you have HoW.

Looking at my .ini file, it does have Cheats=1 under the game options section, so the config program must have added it. You should look through your .ini file again and see if there is a Cheats=0 declaration below where you added Cheats=1. Also make sure that that Cheats is capitalized and that there are no spaces before or after the equal sign.
