Just wanted to inform the world of my glorious victory over Icasaracht... :D

It was with my Lord of the Rings party, and (hasted...) they kicked her sorry butt.

OK, so maybe Frodo got frozen to death once, but a Resurrection spell from Gandalf brought him back good as new :D

The expansion was quite small, so I was a little peeved, but I am yet to try TotLm, so I will create a new HoW only game and import my chars into that and then go off to totlm.

Is it hard? Is there a lot of good treasure? <Rubs hands together greedily in anticipation of making characters even more godlike> :D

All my chars are over level 20... some over 25... Will they be okay?

Thanks in advance,

Moiraine Sedai

<font color = mediumspringgreen>moiraine,

Congrats!

clvl 20 to 25? I can see why you kicked derriere. Yes TotLM is harder; but the break even point for whether most can make a good go of it is a balanced party with average clvl = 13. So you should have no problem. I found that I needed my Bard and my Clerics much more than in previous areas; so I hope you brought at least one of these along!

What's a party,
without a song?
Bards ROCK!

I think the reason why my characters are on such high levels, NobleNick, is that I have been playing the entire game on insane difficulty... It certainly increase the XP I get... :D

But then, bad guys inflict double damage... so...

Oh well. It makes it a bit more challenging at the start, that's all.

Does anyone else play on insane difficulty? Or hard? Or normal?

Just wondering...

I always play on normal, however, for IWD I played IWD without HoW on normal first, then I started from the very begginning IWD+HoW on insane, then for the third time I played again from the very beginning IWD+HoW+TotL

First time I played on core rules, and the second time too, then I got HoW and played a four member party on core rules.
After that I went berserk, played twice on HoF mode, started experimenting with solos, found out that HoF mode soloing is painful and not fun, so I soloed bard, dwarven F/C, necro, pally and fighter/druid DC (all finished except necro) on core difficulty.
In the solo period I started two new parties and decided to play them on insane, because the game allows to switch difficulty without exiting to config and selecting HoF mode.(those two are yet to be finished)
