I'm in the glacial section with the frost salamanders and am stuck. I met with Kerish and said I'd think about helping him out. Then I wandered around the area, went back outside and found the other entrance to the slave hideout. So, I talked to Gareth, offered to help him, talked to the other guy about the bridge and have now returned to the palace to speak to Kerish so I can "agree" to kill the slaves. The only problem is, I can't find Kerish. I've talked to every single frost salamander in the joint, and none of them offer to take me to him. Did I miss something?

He should be in the upper right corner in the palace. He can be very hard to find and if I remember correctly, then he is not name tagged. (when you press TAB-key then it says frost salamander, and not his name)

check your inventory - if you can find Kerish's spear, then you definately have killed him [img]smile.gif[/img]

The location of Kerish is marked on the right hand side of this map... I must warn you, that the map marks the location of other important features - but if you really HAVE explored everything (like you say you have), this wont be spoiling anything for you.

Okay, I decided that since I couldn't find Kerish (I swear I looked everywhere and talked to everyone), I'd just start killing the salamanders. Not very kind of me, but hey, they're holding a bunch of slaves hostage. I am beginning to wonder about that Vera chick, though. Hmmm.

Anyway, I plowed my way through the level, and one of the last salamanders I killed happened to be Kerish. Where the heck was he earlier? Oh well, I would have taken him out anyway just for the XP.

Thanks a bunch for your help, everyone! I'm now on the next level, and damn if those Tarnished Sentries aren't going to be the death of me!
