Anyone even dared to try this? By not loading i of course mean that you effectively cannot die or it's game over...i would have written not saving but it auto saves doesnt it!
Wonder how far you could go? It would also place a more realistic tone to the game and make you not blatanly risk your life or your reputation (for the pickpocketers among you) on something that wasnt worth it! Ya know, I might just try it.

they would not put the save options in the game (especially quicksave) if you didnt need it, its obvious that it is essential

It would be extremly difficult but not imposible. How would you sleep or eat? Hit the spacebar and leave your computer running.

One must always remember Biowares sage advice from BGII: While your characters don't have to eat, you do. We don't want to lose any dedicated players! ;)

I just really don't see how you could do it unless you cheated and upped you exp to an un-godly level but then it wouldn't be any fun
